Go get em. Very informative. If you work for the government, especially the schools you must be held accountable for your actions.

He mistakenly used his District Credit Card. This whole District 65 experience has been one giant misunderstanding. 😂😂😂😂

Tom, have you looked into Horton's work with "School Exec Connect"?

Earlier this month he appeared at a school board meeting in Oswego where he is apparently consulting for a Superintendent search.

Given the fact that he told the media in Georgia that he wanted to begin work before July 1st in DeKalb and, now, he apparently is simultaneously working for another consultancy, I wonder what the Board's response to this might be.

I've seen Hernandez quoted as saying the board approves his outside work. Was that the case with this gig? I also note that in 2021 he was working with the same consultancy on a search in Northbrook.

I’ve got a few stories coming down the pipe on what I would call “superintendent misbehavior” - that goes beyond anything Dr. Horton is doing. This kind of side hustle consulting without properly disclosure is the *norm* not the exception among superintendents right now. It’s very very gross. Stay tuned.

Yup. Will post a more complete accounting of this story at a later date, after I get a ruling by the IL AG PAC office. Hopefully soon-ish
