I hope the board can recognize that we got played here, he was clearly gunning for a bigger role the entire time. All the national media attention, public spats, etc were all for attention so he could lever up to a bigger con.
Have you done any digging into Joey Halipern's many consultancies? He quit his job as a principal a couple of years ago and I think he spends most of its time running something called InnovateK12. My sense is that these consultancies cross pollinate quite a bit and that there is a "you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours" mentality in that world.
