On the Horton gun story, he says in the interview that an arrest was made. Absolutely there would be a public record of this. So it is pretty clear he is lying.

In the interview he says "there's a parent who came by my house, my home, threatening me with a gun, right? Like all of these things, um oh yeah they got arrested and they talked about can they get their license back..."
I'm not sure what he means by the license bit. A gun license?
Anyways, there was no gap between "someone came to my house threatening me with a gun" and "they got arrested."
But I agree with you that it is ridiculous for him to make those claims.
My impression of him throughout his time in Evanston was that he was not the most eloquent public speakers. I don't think he is the most politically savvy guy either. Which is something that might happen from someone who had never run a district before. (His lack of experience should have disqualified him from the job in the first place, but that is another story).
In the interview he could have just been engaged in (to use Trump's words) "bravado."
Curiously, I posted a comment on the Evanston Live TV Youtube link to the interview. Since Melika Gardner was advertising the video as revealing news relating to "a racist parent showed up to his home with a gun," she clearly understood it was a big deal.
My comment was not snarky, but rather something along the lines of "that is horrible to hear about the gun incident. When did it happen and who was arrested? This is a big deal and something the media should cover."
Yeah I posted a comment and it got deleted immediately. If you included a link, I think Youtube automatically deletes those instead of the creator, thinking that the link is spam.

I do think there was an arrest related to the email harassment but the address on that was not his home address, it was the School District HQ.

Guess what? She deleted the comment.
