Unofficial FOIA Gras IL-9 Poll Results: Mayor Biss leading
290 of you voted in our unscientific poll
If you voted today in the unofficial unscientific FOIA Gras IL-9 Poll, the results are below. I have a couple of disclaimers:
The audience for this blog skews very heavily Evanston/Wilmette. We didn’t properly sample any other places - caveat emptor on the results.
I honestly feel very relieved in how diverse my audience is! Thanks for subscribing.
The poll was open to the general public all day, so anyone who showed up could’ve voted. I had some basic security in place to avoid double voting, but a very smart person could’ve voted twice.
The results are not super different from the last Evanston Roundtable poll from 3 days ago. Phil Andrew is outperforming his other poll results, perhaps driven by his post on this blog a few weeks ago.
Now that the polls are closed, you can also follow along with tonight’s results on Ryan McComb’s IL9.org and read this morning’s post about it. Onto the results:
If the election was today (it is) who would you or are you voting for the IL-9 Election? (290 votes)

After the election, I’ll compare the results to the poll and we’ll see how we did. If I’m way off, I probably won't do this again.
